A “Buddy” is a family member, friend, neighbor, or volunteer who agrees to become a support resource for our clients.
Buddies are the first people to be contacted when the client needs support.
Buddies will have personal, one on one contact with the client, learn about their preferences, capabilities, what technology is installed at their home, and what support resources the client has available to them.
When the client selects “help me”, they will be directed to their social network of buddies. This is a prioritized contact list. Calls will be routed from 1st to 2nd to 3rd buddy, and if no one is available the call will be handled by our trained staff.
We hope to deliver a service that minimizes the need for buddy intervention, but inevitably, our clients will need support. We will be the team ready to help.
